body experiment - phase 1a

Update on diet. I haven't started working out (so busy!) but I'm still at 170. I don't think I'm going to drop any more but I'm going to give it one more week of hard-core ketosis.

However I have changed my diet slightly based on a interesting post from a LCHF blogger/doctor.

Whipped cream.

Specifically it's my breakfast.

Into a blender:

  • A few berries - strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry. Berries generally are low carb. A strawberry has about 1 net carb
  • Heavy whipping cream. A cup has about 6 grams
  • No-sugar almond milk
I add the first two ingredients and then thin it with the almond milk as it gets too thick and stops having that funnel at the top.

I think this doesn't sound appetizing to most people but I friggin love whipped cream.
